Tallow Soap, Lavender

About this

Made with tallow rendered from our own Black Angus and scented with lavender. Emily started making these after our daughter Carter was born, when she went looking for things with ingredients she actually recognized.

Good for

Hands, body, and the sink by the back door.

This one lives at our kitchen sink and beside the bathtub. It's the bar we reach for at the end of a long day. Emily makes lavender in the biggest batches because it's the one that runs out first, and it's the one people ask for by name at the market.

Storage

Keep the bar on a draining dish between uses and it'll last a lot longer. Store spares somewhere dry and out of direct sun.
