Tallow Soap, Vanilla

About this

Made with tallow rendered from our own Black Angus and scented with vanilla. Emily started making these after our daughter Carter was born, when she went looking for things with ingredients she actually recognized.

Good for

Hands, body, and the sink by the back door.

The girls pick this one every time. It's the gentlest of the three. There's nothing sharp about it, which is why it ends up in their bathroom. It's also the bar we hand to anybody who's never used tallow soap before, because it's the easiest introduction to it.

Storage

Keep the bar on a draining dish between uses and it'll last a lot longer. Store spares somewhere dry and out of direct sun.
